Etica are working with a IT Consultancy who are currently seeking to recruit a Consultant with extensive Investment Banking experience and IT knowledge to join our Technical Consulting Practice in London. The role will require you to act as a Business Analyst Consultant and engage in pre- sales activities. The successful candidate will need to have experience in the business solutions lead cycle, preferably having previously held a position in a Risk or Front Office role. This may suit a strong Business Analyst from an IT department or an architect/systems manager with a strong business focus. Main Skills: – Extensive investment banking experience – Knowledge of systemic view – An understanding of the front to back business flow and processes – A sound understanding of banking IT systems – Evidence of project delivery – Good product knowledge in one or more areas (Derivatives, Rates, Credit, EQD, flow business, Bonds) – A high level of IT knowledge – An ability to demonstrate a capability for Consultancy ie have a degree of gravitas, excellent communication skills etc. – A willingness to travel with work – Some exposure to systems such as Murex and Calypso If you think this is the job for you please send your CV to (see below).
